LIMITATIONS FOR FOR SOME VEHICLESThe
LU-6000 License Plate Frame requires 6 3/4"
height by 12 5/8" width to fit and clearance
to allow the hinge-frame to unfold. Some,
some SUV's and Pickups with frames installed
behind and downwards of the rear bumper may
not allow the LU-6000 security frame to fold
all the way down. However it should fold
down far enough to install upper registration
tags.

1. Our LU-6000 license plate and registration security frame is made of
light weight aluminum and will out last all of us. You may order powder
coated black, white, red, or silver. (chrome or gold plating maybe special
ordered (costs extra). Your LU-6000 security frame measures 12 and 5/8 left
to right and 6 and 3/4 top to bottom. (please check your vehicle to be sure
you have space for your LU-6000)
2. Our exclusive hidden "cylindrical security lock" embedded inside of a
heavy block of aluminum which thieves will not compromise. (WE GUARANTEE
IT!)
3. Thieves cannot remove your license plate's attaching screws (or bolts)
as they are not any longer exposed.
4. Registration tag security offered exclusively by Lockum. (pat. pend.)
It does not matter in which corner of your state's license plate the
registration tags are to be placed on. They are definately locked on,
thieves will not any longer be able to remove them - WE GUARANTEE IT!. Our
unbreakable "lexan" windows do not cover over any license plate numbers or
letters, deeming them 100% legal. And welcomed by State Legislators and all
law enforcement.
5. Should you decide to move to another state your LU-6000 folding

"lexan" windows can be placed and locked on to any of the four corners of
any states' license plates.
6. Installing your new yearly registration tags takes less than 10 sec.
all you need to do is unlock your frame - fold it down (or up) install your
new tag - fold your frame back up (or down) - thats it, your license plates
and registration tags are locked on!
7. Our LU-6000 security frame is reversible (in most installations) in
that the lock can be placed on the top of your license plate or on the
bottom of your license plate.
8. After installation of your LU-6000 security frame you will find that
there are not any rattles anywhere. There are not any exposed "screw" heads
or "bolt" heads, just a smooth uncluttered security license plate frame.

9. With each LU-6000 order you automatically receive a free metal LU-100
(dual locks) security frame. You may choose chrome plated, gold plated, or
black powder coated, red powder coated, white powder coated, or silver
powder coated. If your state uses a front license plate you can use your
free LU-100 to lock on your front plate.
10. All Lockum security frames come with the most commonly used screws,
bolts, lock cover caps, and matching snap caps. There is nothing else you
need to buy. Also in the package is a special "flat bar" and bolts. This
"flat bar" is designed to be used in conjunction with ANY of Lockum's
security frames (or Tornado Twister Locks). It is not needed on automobiles.
It is for any vehicle that uses a license plate "BRACKET" for the
installation of their license plate. Example - light duty trucks, heavy duty
trucks, trailers, rvs, etc. The "flat bar" has two drilled and tapped
quarter inch holes that line up with your license plate. (two 1/4 " bolts
are included) This special "flat bar" cost you nothing when you order our
LU-6000 or when you order our LU-100 security frame. The "flat bar" is to be
placed on the rear of any Lic. plate "bracket". Thieves can not any longer
remove the nuts that holds your Lic. plate onto your license plate
"bracket". This special "flat bar" takes the place of the nuts. (your "flat
bar will be included in your LU-100 package at not extra charge.)
There are some Suvs and pickup trucks that have their
license plates in front and downwards of the rear bumper, which may not
allow your LU-6000 security frame to fold all the way down. However, the
frame should fold down enough to allow your yearly registration tags to be
installed.
